Posted by Daisy Have you noticed how almost every decent restaurant in London these days is Turkish run ? It can be called the Mediterranean in Soho, Sam's Fish'n'Chips in Golders Green, the Millennium Cafe in the Holloway Road (where we had a fry up this evening) or Le Bistro French Restaurant, suddenly every type of food and every good meal is Turkish.

We went there about 6 weeks ago, the new owner is - I think - Turkish, although he's kept the french menu, as you observe. He's in his thirties and very hands on and enthusiastic. We had a huge joint of beef carved for us at the table, with big fat chips and were very happy. Wasn't cheap though.
