We went there about 6 weeks ago, the new owner is - I think - Turkish, although he's kept the french menu, as you observe. He's in his thirties and very hands on and enthusiastic. We had a huge joint of beef carved for us at the table, with big fat chips and were very happy. Wasn't cheap though. Have you noticed how almost every decent restaurant in London these days is Turkish run ? It can be called the Mediterranean in Soho, Sam's Fish'n'Chips in Golders Green, the Millennium Cafe in the Holloway Road (where we had a fry up this evening) or Le Bistro French Restaurant, suddenly every type of food and every good meal is Turkish.
