I wholeheartedly agree with Dawn and Rodney. Mastiffs should be both tall and massive--with great bone and depth of body . The first impression should be OMG What a huge dog!!
I am annoyed by people who act as if we must choose between size and movement or size and correct structure or size and "thickness" I want it all (or as close as I can get to it) --height, thickness, depth, bone, and movement in one lovely package that has a good temperament.
I have 2 that pretty well fit that bill and am hoping that the puppy will also. Why settle for less??
R, not to say that size is the only thing a judge should look at , but it is certainly a biggie!!!
