Any rescue folks around??? There is a senior Mastiff in N Illinois in McHenry County Animal control. The Illinois rescue contacts (e-mail) are not valid. They are closed today so I am going tomorrow after work to take her out and see what her personality is like. I will see if she has had a heart worm check this year. This is a high kill shelter, if I have to I will take her and keep her at work with me until I can figure something out. If I take her, Ill run blood work and x-rays to see what over all shape she is in. I have considered taking her home but I don't know how well it would work bringing a full grown dog into the house.
