I think I might feel alittle more strongly about this issue, cause it has happened to me. Not with a mastiff, but a GSD dog I once had. Delivery guys were bringing my riding mower. GSD was loose out front with me( I live in a remote area of country, no one else around type thing) guys started to get out of truck i YELLED DONT get out till I put dog up, he kept coming, says of he will be fine, Adolph NOT a happy camper,barking and growling, I continue to YELL GET BACK in your truck till I get the dog put up. He acted as if I wasnt saying a word, walked right up to Adolph and went to pet him on his head, and YES he bit. I was sooooooooooooo darn mad I could have bit him too. He acted as if he were surprised. After he had a HUGE piece of my mind, and I TRIED to tell him how dog ignornant he was, he left without further word. I tried to tell him, I tried to get to my dog FAST enough, but it did all happen so fast, and he totally ignored my instructions, so in my mind, it WAS his fault he got bit......lol Butthead
