Hope all is well.
Interesting question and one I don't have many choices for you to consider IMO.
I can however tell you who I believe is the most down to earth. I also believe you'd be hard pressed to find nicer folks in the mastiff world, who I believe do produce some nice mastiffs and don't breed for money only. I think they do a lot for mastiffs when they can and do care about their pups.
That would be Vicki and her husband Tim Hix of Oaklane-Polaris Mastiffs. Use to be just Oaklane Mastiffs.
Thats not to say they have never put a pup on the ground that didn't produce what they wanted, but I think any and all breeders experience that happening one time, or another.
But like I said, they have always seemed like pretty straight shooters to me. I have yet to hear them bash another breeder for all to hear. have yet to hear they were anything but nice and helpful folks.
We use to show with them in the late 90's and and early 2000's with Harley. They were always supportive of our wins and us of theirs. We enjoyed talking with them at those shows and seeing their mastiffs, who always had great temperaments.
I'm not sure how much breeding they do today, if any since we haven't talked in a while. But I think that would be a good place to start looking and maybe hear what they have to say about a good breeder to check out.
I think this is still their contact info below.
