Posted by Laura on 5/25/2004, 12:59 pm When you listen to Ron's music, which recordings do you reach for first? Is it his Archies stuff that rings your bell, or do you like the Detergents, or the Cuff Links, or perhaps Ron's solo recordings? Which solo recordings do you put in the player, those from the 60's/70's, or his later ones from 1979 (Dante's Inferno) and 1981 (Street Angel)? Or do you mostly listen to his Favorites CD? Me, I tend towards his solo stuff right at the moment, mostly "Brings You Up" and other, more obscure recordings from the 60's and early 70's that I have (thanks, eBay!). A friend of mine was kind enough to put these on CD for me so that I can bring them to the office and listen there. Once in awhile, though, I get in the mood for some Archies music, and when I do I usually put in one of the compilation CDs I own, like "Absolutely the Best." Which RD recordings do the rest of you listen to for the most part? Thanks,
