While I am not a blood relation to the Royden family, my descendents had close ties to the Royden's in the early 1900's. My great Grandfather (John Wimpenny) worked for the family manufacturing gas for the estate. His eldest daughter (my great aunt) later worked as a house servant for Lady Mary Royden. This is according to her letters to my mother. Is there anyway I can verify this? Also is there any published information about the running of the Frankby estate?
