Posted by Mina of Desert Roses on 9/5/2002, 12:00 pm with a forward hip pop (as I like to call them) start centered with knees bent, arms up and slightly rounded (think like ballet) move your right foot forward and thrust the hip upward in a forward movement, bringing your right arm (same as leg) down like you are pulling taffy. To do the back hip pop, take the same leg and move your foot behind you (directly not to the side your not doing a side movement but a back one) about 6 inches and lift your hip back like you are attempting to close your car door with your butt. move your arms in the same way as forward.
