Hi Benu, Jillina from Los Angeles area has a great drum solo teaching tape. I generally dont use video instruction as I prefer the "third diminsion"with an instructor you dont get on a video but this one is very good. Jillian is Egyptian style and her drum is entergetic and sassy. You can find it through the MECDA site links or I believe Pinkgyspy.com has a link to her also. Its well worth the purchase. Dunia (from San Jose) has a great no nonsense step combination instruction video out. Type in Desert Dance Festival San Jose on your computer and you should get right to her site.
Find a teacher in your area, videos are good, but they still dont beat personal instruction.Good luck, Patrisha
