((This rp was from awhile back. The opponet was Dangerous Dallas Kinkaid. The match a tourney qulifier. This was an early rp with this character. Here it is.))
The night has came to an end and the sun has already began it's creep to the west coast. The darkness of a specific alley starts it's vanishing trick as our attention is shifted to a dark gray, beaten door. The unmarked door flies open, striking the concrete wall from behind and the sight of the blonde, long stemmed Ravin Sawyer steps into the alley where a series of cars, all models and makes, pass by, some stopping for other individuals that come behind Ravin. She gives a glance behind, then forward, moving to the side allowing others to exit the door. Her signature black dress had a tear in the right strap where the attention of her left hand was at, attempting to keep the dress up. Anxiety built in her face; frustration was already leaking through the Queen of Elegance. Her eyes shot opened as an arm was whipped form behind her and placed around her shoulders. She desperately searched for an identity, but her eyes rolled when she discovered it was Twisted Enigma, himself... Rurik. With a black suit being sported with a white dress shirt unbuttoned from the top, It was obvious of his previous endeavor. He looked ahead, then gave a glance at Ravin.

Cheer up, blondes... It was a mistake. ((Rurik shook his head, trying to regain focus as Ravin shrugged his hand off which was moving toward her loose strap. Rurik then turned his attention back to Sawyer as a black, unlabeled car pulled beside them)) You should know not to go all dolled up in a place like that. But hey, What works for you...works for...
((Ravin fought for a smile, that showed more anger than glee. She opened the door for Rurik, holding back her words. Rurik held the door, as Ravin stepped in with a forced 'thank you'. Rurik looked to his right, then his left. He gave his chest a scratch, then entered the car. ))

The scene faded back with an internal shot of what one could guess was the car designated for Sawyer and Rurik. Sawyer sat on the back seat with Rurik as the man himself looked out the window, onto the street which was already up for the morning.
[[--Rurik--]]
Nothing like a trip back to the U.S. . Not to rag on Canada, but their beer... it's... ((glanced at Ravin, breaking the conversation topic. He stared at her, then ended his stare with a 'pssh'. Rurik returned his eyes to the window)) Well, something for nothing, Boston's next on the map, That should be interesting. I'm a Yankee fan, myself, but I can deal. Fan support has never really been a thing with me. Pedro, He could always bring a crowd in, but in order to do that, You must give up a part of yourself. A vulnerability exposed to a world of strangers. I've always been about business and I could understand with that crowd behind you, you could feel like a god ((a smirk)) ... but that feeling is just another adrenaline rush. The same rush you could get by escaping out of the way of a moving car or after a good rub down. ((gave a look to Ravin, but she paid him little attention))
((Rurik continued))
An adrenaline rush is just a sign that your body's going to give one more inch on the fuel it has left. Dallas Kincaid, If a bell of familiarity hasn't rung off yet, It's time to consult a physician. ((smiled as he turned his attention to the audience)) Before I go through the "old man" routine and the played out bit on "how you're keeping the young ones down', I guess I better go ahead and introduce myself. I'm going to go ahead and skip over the name game and the "Where I've been" shtick, and get right to the point. I'm the young punk that's next in line. Don't mistake me for being there for long, I don't play that way. I don't go around pointing fingers around, looking for someone to blame. I'm not one to waste time even though it's thought of as a great learning technique. I know what I have to learn and I'll get the rest when the time's right. You can't blame a man for walking ahead, instead of staying in the same spot, can you? That's why roads lie where they are... It's for progression, but still, they stay in the same place for the people, for the ones that just cannot move on. My eyes are on you Diamo... ((smiles, correcting himself)) Dangerous Dallas. That television championship still has your stink upon it, and you're ready to keep it from becoming something of prestige. Keep in mind, If you would have given two shits in the first place, You'd still have your hands around it. But like the future has yet to reveal to you, It's just not meant to be. Your grasp isn't slipping, It has already given up hope and your fingers are now floating in air trying to grab onto the nearest tree branch. Just look at the facts. You're down here playing with the rookies and the other veterans with lost hope, trying for a championship meant for the rising stars and starlets when the established whatnots are up there rumbling for the World Belt. You don't have to care about a word out of my mouth, but the words on the pages speak for themselves. Those fans can clap and cheer for you all night long, but it won't mean a damn if you don't know how to use it to your advantage. You stopped losing it years ago, Kincaid, You already lost it.
That dirt has already crumbled beneath your feet. I would love to just cut it right here, saying "Enough about you, onto the New Star", but I just can't help but to dig deeper into a scarred, beat up veteran. Consider it cruel and unnecessary, but screw the critics... this business is a whole 'nother view on the sidelines. When in that ring, It's a war that isn't won by shaking hands and pointing at the fans... it's by victory. Call me insane but to win... you usually have to... well, Win. Losing doesn't get you anything, especially second helpings. But the table's already full, Dallas, There's always left overs.

The car came to a halt, bringing the eyes of Rurik ahead. He allowed a "Dammit" to escape as he and Ravin exchanged frustrations about the newly arrived traffic ahead.
