Fitted a 12 Pak clutch kit supplied by M.A.P.
Also a ball bearing roller pressure plate, springs and "pip" nuts.(New cable too.)
Adjusted P/P for true(?),set locknut etc, buttoned up and tested operation.
Shifted beautifully for the first 25 or 30 miles then noticeably worse.
Took apart again and noticed the pip nut wasn't pipping on the spring end due to manufacture error.
Examined original springs for length and one was noticeably longer.(?)
Once this is resolved for correct parts, any tips or tricks for setting P/P for true running?
Also, removing nuts seems a MAJOR ball-buster, any comments or suggestions will be GREATLYappreciated. . . .
