As it's a 1969 model, it should have the timed breather at the left-hand end of the inlet camshaft? So there ought to be a vent stub in the L/H crankcase recess in the area near the gearbox output sprocket?
Very difficult to see, and even harder to fit the breather pipe to, I would imagine?
(From 1970-on, the breather arrangement changed to a pipe at the rear of the primary chain case, the crankshaft oil seal was deleted, the engine then breathed through the drive side main bearing, the primary drive oil became common with the engine oil.)
