Hi,
I've just picked up a Triton with a (I think) '76 T140 engine (LH shift).
Having given her a run around the block, the clutch is slipping so I've pulled the clutch to see what state the plates are in.
Having done this I've found that the outer clutch basket has got quite a lot of 'wobble' in it. I can rock it by 3-4mm
Is this normal for a unit Bonny?
If I'm going to investigate further then I'll need to take off the clutch; do I need a special puller for this? I kind of expected the clutch center to just slide off the shaft... but it doesn't.
TIA
