it is possible to remove the clutch drum without disturbing the alternater assembly,slacken off the primary chain tensioner and once the shock absorber centre has been removed using a small magnet ,remove the 20 rollers,let the drum fall slightly towards you and lift off the chain towards the back of the drum,saved me a lot of time and hassle,also I made a clutch locking tool by drilling 4 holes in an old inner plate and welding it to an old outer plate once the friction pads had been removed
