G'day Guys,
I've been getting some weird steering problems
with the bike pulling the opp. way when I slow
for the corners. I've taken off the front end
& revealed the bottom bearing to be totally RS,
not even turning, all the rollers pushed in,
which I was surprised about because the steering
still felt smooth when the bike was up on the
centre stand. I've got some new good quality
bearings, the cup on the top of the stem is
good, but the bottom one has had the treatment
with the seized bearing, the question is can
you drift out the bearing cups, there doesn't
seem to be much of a lip, if not I could give
it some wet & dry but would prefer a new cup.
regards, Cus
