I am inspecting my clutch due to stiff operation.This bike is new to me and I have only ridden it a few miles after sitting for many many years.I find that if I grab the transmission mainshaft(clutch center) I can push back and forth for approx 1.5mm of endplay.I can't find any reference to a spec in my books for proper endplay.Maybe the thrust washer behind the clutch is worn or is this normal play.Is there also a thrust washer behind the kickstarter gear to control endplay at the other end of the mainshaft?
