Hlo Mark, I use a tube of paste called Reflection, (Autosol is also very good,) to bring up a cruddy surface first use a very fine steel wool with a little paste and rub until a you get a mirror surface, clean off, when these sufaces really need doing, its just how much you keep polishing gets the results that suit you, then its just a matter of polishing with a cloth with same product to keep this shine.
