Duct tape, a good adjustable (bahco) spanner. Another spanner large enough to get undo the rear wheel spindle nut, a couple of fuses, couple of bulbs, a selection of cable ties, you might well need oil so top up before you leave and remember to check half way there, spare ignition key. Mobile phone and a recovery card.
If you take them, the bike will run without a glitch, if you don't?....
