Yes that's certainly well known (don't forget Bob Trigg & others) that Mr. Hooper was part of the Commando Isolastic development team and also the NVT Wulf, and of course the Norton "76" which would have been the 1976 model Commando if the factory hadn't closed down when it did!
However I've certainly read before that Bernard Hooper was credited with the development of the AV Triumph although whow much of that was directly attributable to him personally I really do not know? There is certainly reference to that in more than one publication I'm sure? And to quote from the book "Triumph T140 Bonneville and Derivatives" by Roy Bacon, on page 38 there is a line drawing of the AV detail, the caption reads:
"Line drawing of the anti-vibration mounting system devised for Triumph by Bernard Hooper"
And I'm fairly sure I've read the same thing elsewhere before.
