I'm sure you have but you have got the spring in the seal pointing towards the oil ie. towards the clutch basket?.
Of course it could be the gearbox crankcase seal(have you already changed that?)again spring towards the oil, which is leaking (behind the sprocket) in which case its gearbox components out time.
I use silkolene semi-synth gearbox oil, no problem, I'd be very surprised if the oil was causing the leak.
