Ahh, yes the items sent by British Spares are correct but only for the later model. Originally they even supplied the retaining washer as an interference fit (probably what you have been sent) over the newer thinner seal, this was a disaster so they then introduced the thin washer/retainer and a circlip which slotted into a rebate in the inside of the fork bottom member. Personally I would go back to the original one piece seal and fit that.
