r u using high octane unleaded i use 98 ron,my t140 had a simmular problem,in the endi moved the pick up plate on the boyer clockwise a tiny bit and it seemed to dissappear,sounds like u need to experiment with the exact position of the pickup,make a pencil mark as a reference then try fine adjustments like 1mm say.
