i can only think of the obvious - which you have probably done anyway - compare the length of the pushrod with the old one -- make sure there are the correct number of plates - make sure the clutch is fully seated on its shaft ie; not sticking out too much ; is the chain parallel to the crancase face -- are the new clutch plates good quality with friction material that is not too thick
