Do you actually mean "engaged" or "disengaged"?
Disengaged = Clutch lever pulled in, so the pressure plate lifts and the clutch disengages the engine drive from the gearbox?

Do you mean one (or more) spring adjuster nut/s is/are coming into contact with the inside of the primary case?
Or do you mean the pushrod "adjuster nut" (or the adjuster)?
In which case, it ought to be hitting on the inside of the pushrod adjuster access plug?
Have you fitted one of the alloy pressure plate conversions, as they can require the fitting of a thicker (White?) O-ring to space the access plug away from the pushrod adjuster?
