i have fitted TT pipes to a T140 on several ocassions - they can be a bit of a fiddle but i didnt modify the centre stand fixings - shouldnt make any difference but they were all push over pipe (i think push over pipes are more tolerant to "misalignment" at the head) you may find when the pipes are fully in the head that they line up better
