If yoy think the coils are original they will be 12V wired in series ? Piss them off and try a jap 12V twin lead coil. Be aware that Boyers particularly need good voltage and if your battery is crook it may start the engine OK on "surface charge" but need a bit of alternator to recover the battery to the point where the Boyer sees adequate voltage. Look at Britbike.com and do a search re Boyer and adequate engine earth etc.
