1982 T140e cuts out when hot

Hi have owend t140 for many years,it has a Boyer power box fitted so no battery and has been running fine for years,know though when the engine gets hot after 3or4 miles it violently miss fires and engine cut out with no spark at eathere plug,if left to stand for a couple of hours to cool spark returns to both plugs and engine will start.Can any body help with prob.
