I'm trying to sort out a confusing situation. I've looked at the Boyer troubleshooting guide and a few other pages but here's my problem:
The timing plate reads as 128 Ohms resistance. It should be 137, typically.
Here's how I've checked individual coil resistance: Put one probe of the multimeter on the B/W wire lead, the other probe on the bit of solder just visible under the plastic cap of the corresponding coil. Do the same with the B/Y lead and coil. MY B/W shows 0 resistance. The B/Y shows 64.5 or thereabouts. Am I measuring the coils properly?
