The ignition switch position in the control box on a T140E is notoriously cramped, when you are switching the key to "lights" another wire in there is almost certainly just touching the connection and shorting the fuse.
Open it up, take careful note (digital piccie) of where everything goes and I'm pretty certain that the offending wire will be obvious beneath the switch.
