Hi L.A.B. You sound like a guy who knows what he's talking about - can you advise on the following
I have a 69 T120 and want to upgrade it to the later spec with the removal of the drive side main bearing oilseal and by drilling the 3 holes as recommended in a number of books - now the question(s)?
1 can I have my crankcases machined (including drilling a vent hole, 2 fixing holes and a machined gasket face) to take a T140 type angled breather pipe on the rear of the inner primary side crank? - I'll obviously block off the original crankcase breather that comes out in front of the Main Rear Chain Drive sprocket. I would route the breather pipe out to the rear of the bike.
2 If this is feasible doi I simply take out all of the mechanics from the old breather timing mechanism on the inlet Cam and or do I need to do anything else.
Cheers in advance
