Rear brake master cylinder position

Hi Guys I'm in the process of restoring my 1980 T140 E and just fitted a reconditioned rear brake master cylinder. I've noticed that it virtually touches the underside of the swinging arm. Can anyone tell me if this is correct or am I missing something?
