<<The top end of the breather pipe under the tank should push onto a pipe which leads into the top of the in frame oil tank.>> Or...maybe the top end of the tube is connected to the frame reservoir breather outlet stub (at the rear of the headstock) but the lower end isn't connected into the 'T' piece?
