Very nice bike, but lots and lots of parts ( if you're picky) are particular to the T140D. You see many US versions with a pair of silencers rather than the 2:1. The silencer is available now. It was the first T140 to use the console between the headlights (although a very few early T140E's slipped through the net). US version sells for more and much more quickly than the UK. It should have Lester alloys not Morris (these have a disc with 6 bolt holes) Rita as standard
The Mk2 is a bit of overkill on a T140 in all truth, it can amplify the flat-spot on a T140 (around 4000rpm) they are more reliable after setting although the cold start mech can collapse after time (sealing tips to the plunger)making the bike run rich or not start but an easy fix.
