The reservoir pipe should be routed outside the swinging arm, and inside of the rear engine plate, immediately to the rear of the swinging arm pivot.
A small retaining "Z" clip (part 83-7049) must be fitted inside the plate on the upper rear plate to frame mounting bolt with the clip's 'open' end facing forward, which retains the reservoir pipe and prevents it coming into contact with the swinging arm.
