Hi Les, good clear concise information as always I see.
My experience with the pilot screw was that if I turned it out by one full revolution and another half revolution, (540 degrees) the engine spluttered, coughed, farted and died....
Yet if I turned it out from fully home by 3/4 of a full revolution, (270 degrees approx) the engine ticked over fine.
Being a single carb twin, would that make any difference? The engine is 'blippable' at the 3/4 turn setting too and picks up fine from tick-over.
It doesn't run rich at that setting (or weak either for that matter).
Just my two-pence worth.
