well I bet that got you scratching your head! Sorry mate, I thought you were talking about the swinging arm spindle... the old brain is going... must be all those Castrol R fumes I sniffed as a young bloke...

ps. I think it still applies to the wheel spindle though. No difference really other than personal choice. I always found it best to push the spindle in from the left as it made locating the speedo drive a bit easier..
