I also have used Hayward belt drives on two of my T140 race bikes and my wife's T100 race bike. No problems at all, never broke a belt. I would guess the price of a belt drive system is less than a new primary chain, crankshaft sprocket and clutch sprocket. I strongly recommend the belt drive with it's lesser weight and smooth operation. GO for it!
