Maybe, but the early 'E' models ('78 season) didn't have (Lucas Rita) electronic ignition.
And going by Peter's description, his inner steel panels are the '78 (83-4854/83-4803) type with the square spire nut holes, and not the '79, 83-7246/83-7247 panels with two vertical holes in the 83-7247 panel which also had the corner cut away to clear the seat lock mechanism?
