Hi Martin, I've fitted this setup to my T140d, it was quite easy but not necessarily straightfoward. The regulator/rectifier issue did'nt really arise as some time previously I'd fitted a solid state device. The main problem if you have a parallel port head is that the filters do not fit due to fouling on the main frame tube. The answer was to go to my local industrial hose supplier and I bought a piece of hose with two pre-formed angles that near as dammit replicated the splayed head of the "V" model.
Also bare in mind that the panels are bare black plastic and will need a good quality paint job to achive the desired effect.
