Now I've decided to restore electric start and have a new sprag clutch bearing, all ready for re-assembly, but need to know where to fit the two spacers (one thicker than the other) in relation to circlip.
According to the exploded diagram in the 1982 parts book, it shows what appears to be the thickest spacer fits into the intermediate gear first, followed by the sprag, then the thinner spacer, then the circlip, however, Triumph parts book diagrams are not always 100% reliable when it comes to showing parts in their correct assembly sequence-therefore I couldn't guarantee that is the right way.
