Even though both Boyer and Pazon say it is possible to use two 12V coils with their systems for "low compression" etc. engines, it is advisable to fit two 6V items (or one dual output 12v coil) as the two coils must be wired in series therefore they share the voltage so two 12V items will not give as much spark power as two 6V coils.
