OK. Now we're cooking. This will be easy.
Get a test light with a pointed probe.
Start off at the battery and make sure you get a light across the terminals, then power terminal to the frame (I assume you have a + earth system?), then get a good earth and probe your way through the system ensuring that you get a light - start off at the main fuse, test both sides and now work your way downstream until you get nothing when you should be getting something.
Dig through the insulation to the cable if you can't find an accessible contact.
As you have no power at your coils, my guess is that you've got a problem with a worn out ignition switch. Take it out and test the contacts at the rear with your test light.
This is an easy fix Jonny, just a process of elimination.
And NEVER trust a fuse! Even if they look OK I've had plenty that were duds.
