Hi Guys,
just been in the garage tending the injured princess,I noted that when I turned the Alternator rotor nut with a socket that the kickstart ratchet mechanism also turned (which u would expect) but when I try to turn the ratchet mechanism nut on the end of the gear box main shaft clock wise with a socket it is solid....I would think this should turn the gearbox shaft??? Ideas!!
