Okay, I am not trying to be mean or insulting, but I simply do not understand the appeal of Daphne Rubin Vega at all. Not only is she constantly flat on all notes, she even makes pitch mistakes in recordings (twenty two takes and THAT was the best one?). Her voice is so decidedly unpleasant that it's inarguable. WHY DOES SHE HAVE FANS? Somebody explain on what level this shrill, incessant, clumsy timbre is aesthetically pleasing (or even tolerable) to the ear?
