Fuelly

I bought a new 1966 Volkswagen Beetle in Germany while serving in the US Army and swore one day I would own
another one. That wish came true March 2014 when I bought this nice Pearl White 1966 Sedan with Pigalle interior.

The original 1300 engine has been replaced with a rebuilt 1600 that has approximately 2500 miles on it. The rest of
the car is stock with a new paint job, new upholstery, tie-rod ends and new tires. Since I've had it, I've added the
Blaupunkt FrankfortAM/FM radio. I took the car to a local Bug shop on May 12, 2014 for a new windshield, wiper
motor, electronic ignition and having the valves adjusted. The Bug is also getting a new grab handle, steering wheel,
steering column housing repainted the correct color and a set of pop-out rear quarter windows along with a new
speedometer cable. The driver-side window channels are also being replaced. The left headlight high-beam was burned
out on and the seals needed to be replaced. The car is in very good condition and only needs a few things done to bring
it back to near factory original condition.

May 27th

I received a call that the Bug was ready and that everything went well with the few things that were done. When I get
the Beetle home I plan to installing a Sirius Satellite radio receiver. Not sure where the antenna will be mounted or were
the 12 volt power for the receiver is going to come from.
