If money is an issue, try some local animal organizations in your area such as rescue groups, a college biology department, herp societies. They can help with vet bills or offer free treatment for some volunteer work. I keep small change that I have left over at the end of each day in a large coin jar. You would be surprised how fast a couple of hundred dollars will rack up for vet bill money in just a couple of months. Good Luck!
