I'm a little confused by all the different foods available to aquatic turtles. Some foods like zoo med say that the pellets should be low in protein or else the turtle will grow too fast and the shell will become deformed. Other foods like Jurassidiet stress high protein (contains 35%). Jurrasipet says to make sure your turtle food does not include corn, wheat or soy because they contain oxalates and phytates which bind to calcium and prevent it from being utilized. They offer a guarantee on their website that your turtle will grow significantly faster on their diet alone. I'm considering buying both and mixing them half and half =P
