Having created database on units of the 44th, I checked for info on Crawford. Saw he was from Cincinnati, OH. Using phone directories in Ohio found there are 10 Carl Crawfords with phone numbers available in Ohio. Also checked the 324th Association data which indicates about 30 men of K Co as members of that group. Have you tried any of them for info on Crawford?
