Posted by Dennis Dayton My father, now deceased and also a Sargent, was a member of this batallion and I have a seven page typed history of the activities of this unit during WWII. He was somewhat of a writer and had several of his fellow soldiers sign it, I guess to attest to it's accuracy, on the last page. Recent Ken Burns documentary, got me thinking and wanting to do some research. Just beginning.
