Posted by Brenda Carpio My uncle, Eric H. Larson (a Swedish citizen) but an American Hero was killed, we believe in France. He died on November 17 1945 and was buried in Epinal France at the American Cemetery there. Do you know how I can find out his military history and obtain a duplicate of his Purple Heart (which was probably sent to his mother in Sweden after his death). His mother was my grandmother. I am unable to obtian his military number from the family in Sweden. Any suggestions?
